With the ever expanding use of DNA technology a number of issues arise. Where does society safely store all this personal data? Who should control access or use of DNA data? How long should personal DNA data be stored? And whose or which personal DNA data should be included in any DNA databanks or databases? Finally, there is the element of human error or misuse, the specific factor that can limit a technology from becoming truly indispensable science. - Introduction.
