Study of constitutional reform with respect to aboriginal peoples in Canada from patriation in 1982 to 1983 and 1984 First Ministers' Conferences on Constitutional Aboriginal Matters. For each conference, there is account of preparatory process and proceedings as well as examination of issues discussed. Analyzes legal and policy aspects of issues and suggests possibilities for future constitutional discussion.
