Folding faces

Written in the 1970s, "Folding Faces" focuses on the origami of the face or mask. It has 25 or more folded faces, depending on how you count some of the variations of the models, some models representing occupations, historical figures and generic faces.

The book starts with a four page introduction that takes the reader on a quick but fascinating journey through paper folding up to the 1970s.

This is a beautiful and original book which would be an asset to any origami library. While the historical figures are now a bit more "historical" than they were in the 1970s a current folder could adapt the basic masks to make their own versions of current celebrities.
