Through verse and free verse, these works – divided into six thematic sequences – explore enduring themes including ambiguities, memories, and personalities. Inspired by the epic and the ordinary, Robert Stansfield-Cudworth has been composing poems since childhood. This poetry – representing his ‘first fruits’ from 1994 to 2009 – offers a captivating assemblage of reflections, meditations, and inspirations encompassing art, beauty, and creativity.
