Shadow Waters
The people of Kokopu Waters are having problems with spirits, emanations of the as-yet unburied and hence unrestful dead. But the greater threat is the seemingly indestructible sea demons who are appearing in the corporeal guise of loved ones who have passed away. They torment and attack people. Hoheria and Kevin are drawn into battle, a battle that involves transformative deaths by drowning so that the sea demons can ultimately be confronted in their own territory.
