Oliver, an expert in oil exploration is swept into a world of political and mystical sabotage after his wife recovers a mysterious ancient astrolobe. He becomes the reluctant custodian of the astrolobe pursed by those keen to use its powers and when he is reluctantly forced to try the power himself discovers the dark consequences.
