Sporting Scots
Sporting Scots is the remarkable story of how the Scots brought sport to the world. Many of the world's greatest sports, now enjoyed by billions around the globe, either started in Scotland or had a Scottish influence that has made them what they are today. Scots not only invented golf, they also laid down the rules, developed the game and exported it to America and beyond. Scotland also hosted the world's first international football match, and Scots were instrumental in establishing the game as we know it today.
