When nineteen year old munitions worker Cassie Taylor leaves town to become a land girl, she assumes life will be quiet and boring. But on arrival she meets Robert and Stephen Denham, army officer twins who are recovering after being wounded. She falls in love with Robert, and joins the ATS to be with him. But then her fiance is reported MIA.
