Undermining Development
In some parts of the world it has been demonstrated that the power of local NGOs can contribute to improving the quality of development services. Local NGOs in Africa are lagging behind and the author suggests ways to remedy this as well as ways in whichdonors and international NGOs can help to promote local power.
