Remembering
"This book is an attempt to capture the dramatic years of World War Two through the eyes of the men and women of one, small Ontario county. The author has created a picture using their experiences and, whenever possible, their own words. Through the kindness of the veterans or their families photographs have been provided which show dramatically the strength, optimism and above all, the youth of the generation who offered themselves in defence of a way of life which they believed was worth fighting for."
