Numeric databases
The purpose of this book is to provide readers with the fundamentals of numeric databases and draw attention to them, their value, and utility to libraries and information centers. The public needs access to information which does not always appear in print format. Libraries and information centers must be aware of these resources, and recognize that they are essential information sources for a growing number of subjects.
